At Corfe & Purbeck Holidays, we recognise that dogs are an important part of the family. To help you choose the paw-fect place for you and your four-legged companions, we have introduced our Paw Rating system.

Each dog-friendly property is given a Paw Rating to show how pet friendly the accommodation is overall. The rating does not indicate how many dogs are allowed, instead, it reflects how welcome dogs are within the property.

Higher Paw Ratings mean the property is especially dog friendly, with pets allowed in more areas of the home.

Lower Paw Ratings welcome dogs, but have more limitations on where pets can go within the property.

This guide is designed to help you choose a holiday home which suits you and your dog's needs, so you can spend more time enjoying well-deserved treats.

5 – Super Pet Friendly

Dogs are allowed throughout the property. The property will have a fully enclosed secure garden. Dog throws and dog bowls are provided if you forget to bring. Some Poop bags will be available. If your dog is used to being left unattended, once they are familiar with the property, dogs can be left unattended for short periods of time – crated is preferred.

4 – Very Pet Friendly

Dogs can join you in most areas of the property. Dogs are allowed in living areas; sofa cuddles are allowed with throws. The property will have a secure garden. Dog throws and towels are usually provided if you forget to bring. Dogs can be left if crated, once they are familiar with the property.

3 – Pet Friendly

Dogs are welcome but there are a few house rules to keep everyone comfortable. Dogs are allowed in main living areas. No dogs on beds or soft furnishings. Gardens will be enclosed with a mix of fencing and hedges but not guaranteed to be fully secure. Dogs should not be left unattended in the property unless agreed prior to booking.

1 – Pets by arrangement – Ideal for small, well trained dogs

Please contact us so we can confirm if the property can accommodate your dog, depending on the breed/size of your dog. Dogs will be required to stay downstairs and off the furniture. Guests are required to bring their own pet bedding and supplies. The dogs will not be allowed to be left in the property unattended.

All properties undergo a thorough deep clean between guests to ensure comfort and cleanliness for every guest.
